How to Work with Conditional Branching

You can configure questionnaires with conditional branching.  With this feature, questionnaires have built-in “dynamic smarts” – to display or hide additional questions, or whole groups of questions, anywhere in the questionnaire - based on entered responses.  Conditional branching can be nested to create unique, drill-down intelligent audit questionnaires.

This feature is commonly used in situations where auditees are similar, but have key differences that need to be accommodated.  For example: when inspecting buildings, one building may have a lift, another stairs.  One building may have a swimming pool, another may not.  Using branching, you can set up “profiling” question at the start of the questionnaire to determine key auditee attributes.  When you select each attribute, the questionnaire automatically includes the relevant audit questions.
