What does "Create Corrective Action" do?

Any question response can be configured to automatically generate a Corrective Action.

Just click the edit button for any response to a question, and you will see several configuration options.

Check Create Corrective Action. Once this option has been selected, the system will automatically generate a corrective action record if the response is selected at audit time. For multiple choice and drop down lists, you can select more than one response item as a trigger for this function.

A Corrective Action is a separate database record, associated with the audit, the auditor, and the site where the audit was conducted.  It is a record of an issue or deficiency.
